OCTANE Cloud Performance Testing Platform

IB Boost's distributed automation framework, ORQA, is used to provide a cloud Testing-as-a-Service offering, allowing automated tests to be either stored in the cloud or pulled on-demand and run in the cloud. These tests can be for functional purposes or various types of performance testing, as the distributed architecture and execution allows massive volume load testing for stress, soak and other types of performance testing.

Tests can be defined in JMeter or ORQA format scripts of any complexity, or they can be quickly run by simply entering URLs into predefined templates.

ORQA itself can be run as a desktop application allowing even non-technical users to automate the user scenarios they wish to execute and instantly upload these into the cloud service to be scaled across many simulated users on demand.

Our service offers the ability to customise access to data of various sensitivity levels and includes a platform that permits connectivity to the UK government's secure networks with either our cloud-hosted SaaS, or fully-managed on-premise/private cloud installations, whether they be run on Azure, AWS, UKCloud, or other cloud IaaS platforms.
